How It Works

Three steps. That's all.

No hour-long calls, no jargon, no high-pressure sales. Just a fast conversation, real options, and the right plan.

01

Tell me about you

Quick form or a 5-minute call. I'll learn your situation — doctors you want to keep, prescriptions you need, your budget.

02

I do the heavy lifting

I compare every plan you're eligible for, check if you qualify for ACA subsidies, and bring back the top 2-3 options that fit.

03

You pick. I handle the rest.

Choose what works. I take care of all the enrollment paperwork — and I'm your point of contact for any questions all year long.

About Andrew

Health insurance, but actually helpful.

I got into health insurance because I saw too many friends and family members getting overwhelmed by the system — overpaying for plans they didn't need, missing out on subsidies they qualified for, or just giving up and going without coverage.

That's not how it should work. Health insurance shouldn't require an MBA to understand. My job is to translate the confusing parts into plain English, find the plans that actually fit your life, and make sure you're never caught underinsured when you need it most.

I specialize in ACA Marketplace plans because that's where most individuals and families get the best deal — especially when subsidies are factored in. And because I'm licensed in 7 states (MO, FL, AZ, GA, TX, OH, MI), I can keep helping you even if you move.

Common Questions

Things people ask me all the time.

Correct — my services are 100% free to you. I'm paid by the insurance carriers when you enroll in a plan, and I'm paid the same regardless of which carrier you pick. So my goal is finding the plan that actually fits your needs, not the one that pays me the most.
The ACA Marketplace (sometimes called Healthcare.gov or the Health Insurance Exchange) is the federal/state platform where you can buy individual health insurance. Most people qualify for subsidies (called premium tax credits) that lower your monthly premium — even families earning over six figures often qualify. The only way to know for sure is to run the numbers, which I'll do for free.
Open Enrollment runs November 1 – January 15 each year for ACA plans. Outside of that window, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) if you've had a qualifying life event: lost coverage, had a baby, got married, moved, etc. Short-term plans can be enrolled in any time of year. I'll figure out which window applies to you.
Maybe — it depends on the plan. Different plans have different networks, so before you commit I check the specific doctors and hospitals you want to keep against each plan's network. No surprises after you enroll.
Self-employed folks are some of my favorite clients to work with. You can deduct ACA premiums on your taxes (talk to your CPA), you may qualify for substantial subsidies depending on your tax situation, and HSA-eligible plans can give you a triple tax advantage. There are some genuinely great strategies here — let's talk through your situation.
Yes — that's part of the deal. I'm your point of contact for the life of your policy. Questions about claims, billing issues, ID cards, finding a new doctor, even appeals if needed. And every year during Open Enrollment, I do a free review to make sure you're still on the best plan.
